At Murdoch Distribution Limited, we aim to deliver your trade orders quickly, securely, and efficiently. This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how we process, package, and ship products to our customers across the UK and internationally.


1. Order Processing

  • Orders are processed Monday to Friday (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM), excluding public holidays.

  • Orders placed after hours or on weekends will be processed on the next working day.

  • Processing times may vary depending on stock availability, order volume, and product category.

  • Once your order is confirmed, you will receive an order confirmation email followed by a dispatch notification with tracking details.


2. Shipping Methods

We offer flexible delivery options designed for trade and wholesale buyers:

  • Pallet Delivery – For bulk or high-volume orders.

  • Parcel Delivery – For smaller orders and mixed-category shipments.

  • Drop-Shipping – Direct-to-customer delivery option for e-commerce partners.

All orders are shipped using reputable courier and freight partners to ensure timely and safe delivery.


3. Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times depend on location and order size:

  • UK Mainland: 1–3 working days

  • EU & International: 5–10 working days (subject to customs clearance)

Please note that these are estimated delivery times, not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to stock levels, carrier schedules, weather, or customs.


4. Shipping Costs

Shipping fees are calculated based on:

  • Delivery destination

  • Order size and weight

  • Delivery method (pallet, parcel, or drop-ship)

Shipping costs will be shown on your invoice or quoted before dispatch.
For trade customers with ongoing agreements, shipping rates may vary according to contract terms.


5. Risk & Ownership

Ownership and risk of loss pass to the buyer once goods are dispatched from our warehouse.
We recommend that customers inspect all goods upon delivery and report any issues immediately.


6. Damaged or Missing Deliveries

If you receive damaged goods or find items missing from your order:

  1. Notify us within 48 hours of delivery at murdochdistribution@gmail.com.

  2. Provide your order number, delivery note, and clear photos of the issue.

  3. Our team will investigate and arrange replacement, credit, or refund as applicable.

Claims made after 48 hours may not be eligible for compensation.


7. International Shipping

We currently ship to select EU and international regions.
Please note:

  • Customers are responsible for any import duties, customs fees, or local taxes.

  • Certain brands or categories may have geographic restrictions.
    Contact our trade team for region-specific details or freight quotes.


8. Delays & Force Majeure

Murdoch Distribution Limited is not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our control — including natural disasters, strikes, customs delays, or transport disruptions.
